Lebanon have a golden opportunity to qualify for FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup

Lebanon were drawn in Group B along with the title holders Oman, Thailand and Uzbekistan who pulled out from the competition.

The twelve players called up by Alex Braga are : Mohamed Chokor, Hussein Saleme, Mohamad Matar, Mahmoud Matar, Mustafa Al Zein , Mohamad Sleiman, Sameh Jalal, Hussein Abdallah, Haitham Fattal, Mohamad Merhi, Hussein Saleh, Ahmad Grada.

The tournament (March 4-11) acted as a qualifying event to the 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, with the top three finishing nations progressing to the finals in the Bahamas.
